Sacred Heart of Jesus, in who the father is well pleased, have mercy on us.

And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold,
the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove,
and alighting on him;  and lo, a voice from heaven, saying,
“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (Matt. 3:16-17)

And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun,
and his garments became white as light.
… a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,
“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”  (Matt. 17:2,5)

These two passages dramatically show the relationship between Jesus and God the Father.  So the important question is this: why is God the Father “well pleased”? Simple answer, Jesus is doing the will of the Father. Jesus also teaches us to do the same when he teaches us to pray: “Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt. 6:10) How many times have you prayed that? It is time for us start doing the will of the Father, so he can be well pleased in us.
